“I need to lose some weight … so I’m going to start eating healthy!“
We’ve all heard it. Most of us have probably uttered those same words at some point.
“Eating healthy” is the idea that if you swap out “unhealthy foods” (chips, beer, cookies, pizza) with “healthy foods” (salads, fruits, lean meats), you will lose weight sustainably.
But is that it? Is that all you need to do to lose weight?
Unfortunately, things are rarely that easy. See my thoughts below.
The act of switching to healthier food groups may help you lose a few pounds, but it is rarely enough to get you to keep losing weight in the long-run reliably and sustainably.
Everyone needs a plan before tackling their goals, or else their goals can never be achieved.
