However, within his first two years of college, he tore his meniscus and ACL and required to have two knee surgeries, which ultimately ended his collegiate sports career.
Since then, Mike has been dedicated to finding ways on how to build a healthier body, inside and out. Wanting to share his passion and knowledge with others so they can become healthier themselves, he pursued the field of strength & conditioning. He has since earned his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Montclair State University.
Prior to graduation, Mike joined the GameChanger team as an intern coach during his last semester at school. Upon graduation, he then went on to become a Certified Functional Strength Coach, as well as a Certified Physical Preparation Specialist. Within recent years, he also obtained his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist credential from the NSCA, which is considered to be the gold standard of the industry.
After coaching at GameChanger Fitness Springfield for 4-and-a-half years, he is now co-owner and general manager of the latest GameChanger Fitness in Bernardsville, NJ.

Every session at GameChanger you have your own coach with you every step of the way, so you never have to worry about doing the same boring routine over and over again or wondering “What am I doing?” “Am I doing this right?” “Am I going to get hurt?”.
